Enjoy the following cuts from my first album, upcoming second record, as well as other audio dabblings. More coming soon, I promise.
Ahimsa.
Newest Update (11.21.09): I finally put up my solo record, in its entirety. You can find it here. Enjoy it, and thanks to those who kept asking me to post it.
Previous Update (10.31.09): Wow, has it been that long since I've touched this site? I totally forgot that googlepages was disappearing off the face of the earth to switch up to sites.google. I'll miss you, old website. You can always bookmark http://xdeskx.twilightparadox.com/ to make sure it always leads to wherever my site goes. Anyways, I need to put up new stuff. Eventually. Ugh.
Previous Update (02.18.08): Happy New Year n'at. I uploaded some new stuff I've been working on, but to be honest this stuff is about a month old and I'm doing completely different stuff right now. I've just been really busy trying to write stuff for Kalon that I haven't really done much as far as "solo" work goes. But enjoy what's up here: a post-punk chiptune jam and a 4 minute piano piece.
Previous Update (11.09.07): I added my version of a song by one of my favorite bands right now, Amusement Parks on Fire, called "Venus in Cancer." The album has an intro track, which I felt was appropriate to add to my recording. I put this together last night with some simple drum programming and my loop station. I had to go direct into my computer instead of micing an amp, hence the unbelievably scooped sound. The song is written by Michael Feerick of APoF, and you can see their music video [to reference the original song] here.
Previous Update (09.02.07):So I haven't updated this page in a while. I've been creating tunes and crap and just never updated. You'll find new collaborations from MC Mill and Eliz-a-Lash Fraser, along with some ridiculous dance tunes. The band's back together now, so I don't know how active this page will be for the rest of '07, but I'm playing another sweet show on the 21st of September. You can catch all the details on our myspace, which I update our shows and my solo shows as well. Adios for now!
Previous Update (07.19.07): No new tunes this time around [that I'm unveiling at the moment anyway], but I'm playing at Doughnuts & Art on August 25th. More info at www.myspace.com/doughnutsandart
Previous Update (06.02.07): Hooray for Chiptunes! I need to go buy this plugin since I only have the demo, but I love what I whipped up in all of 30 seconds, with some improvisation for the overdub. Also, I got rid of that shitty POQBUM player because it never effing worked.
Previous update (05.27.07): So, they took down my site with my chiptunes and crap. Figures they find out NOW, when I've had a free site from them for 4+ years. Anyhow, I'm a HUGE Massive Attack fan, so I had to do this cover (you may also recognize it from the Fox show, "House"). Does anyone want to contribute vocals? This is now complete, thanks to Miss Lash!
Previous update (04.06.07): My love for cheesy hip-hop continues. "For Reese's, My Pieces" is now up. Now if only I could find some suitable emcees. [note: Mill is brewing a hot cut with Executive Decision, so keep your panties on, aight?]It's now up!
Previous update (04.02.07): My first public *ahem* "hip-hop" track, and two more pieces I had written for the musical; "Mountains Will Bring Us The Rain" [a song of hope and spiritual enlightenment, or my worst Brian Eno homage], and "Stethoscope" [a cosmic dissonance]. Thank you for visiting!
Previous update (01.14.07): New collaboration song with Rick Moslen (of Gremlins&Butterflies/Slur fame) on the page!
